Trade associations came into
existence only after 1950s after the peace prevailed in the world and people
started thinking progressively. The purpose of these associations was to
make growth oriented policies in coordination with the government in
national and international markets. With the growth in trade and
opportunities along with the media, the associations play a bigger role in
safeguarding the rights of the member industries and organizations and
promoting for the betterment. The governments often consult these
associations while policy making and planning.
