Acrylic Fiber

Acrylic is a manufactured fiber made from a polymer and is also known as vinyl acetate or methyl acetate. A variety of acrylic are made by using different production methods, different combination of materials, ingredients and difference of molecular structures of fiber forming substance.

Acrylic is a result of complex chemical synthesis. The fiber has a soft, and warm look resembling wool and cashmere. It is resilient and widely used for domestic and industrial applications. The fiber can be easily dyed and has good colorfastness. Another advantage of the fiber is that it is moth, chemical, and oil resistant.
