Triacetate Fiber

Triacetate is a cellulosic man made fiber, used in a number of industries. The fiber consists of an acetylated cellulose and has certain properties that are different from acetate fiber. It is also a thermoplastic fiber and is more resilient than the other cellulosic fibers.

Triacetate is a primary acetate that does not contain hydroxyl group. the fiber contains a higher ratio of acetate to cellulose than the acetate fibers.
